Shh Its Sundown

Based in Sheffield (UK), Alex Blake (@shh_its_sundown) [he/him] is an artist creating surreal, monochromatic work informed by his experiences with chronic night terrors, trauma, and anxiety.

He predominantly works with fine-liner and ink to produce hand-drawn artworks, and has recently expanded his practice to encompass lino printing and tattoo flash. His work takes inspiration from horror media; such as the works of H.P Lovecraft and Silent Hill, as well as graphic novelists/illustrators such as Marjane Satrapi, Brett Helquist, and Junji Ito.
